Our original Suztain Sponge Cloth / Dish Cloth perfect for washing up dishes or for soaking up messes and spills around the house. We've bundled 5 sponge cloths in our Green & Grey mix pack that measure 19 x 19.5cm.
100% natural, microplastic free & compostable. Long lasting and highly absorbent. Made in the EU of 70% Scandinavian wood pulp.
You can readily cut them up to create just the right size you need in tight flutes or vases and they work phenominally well at the bottom of a cachepot or garden pot to keep the soil from falling out but allowing water to escape to avoid root rot.

Suztain Dish Cloths are without microplastic and are THE best environmentally friendly dish cloth in the market.
With a Suztain Dish Cloth you can literally clean with a clear conscience AND save on the purchase of cloths and sponges.
These Suztain Dish Cloths consist of 70% Scandinavian wood pulp / cellulose and 30% short cotton fibers that are too short for traditional textile production. Manufactured in the EU at one of the most environmentally adapted factories in the world. In stark contrast to most other conventional dish cloths, the burden on the environment during production, product use and disposal is significantly reduced.
Sourcing production from within the EU, also ensures our consumers help reduce their carbon footprint considerably. The dish cloths are of course 100% microplastic free as well as fully compostable according to the EN13432 standard!
The dish cloths are highly absorbent - up to 5 times more than most other quality dish cloths. Each cloth can be hand washed up to 100 times before reaching the end of its life, however if machine washed their lifespan is reduced.
Our Suztain Sponge Cloths / Dish Cloths can be washed at up to 95 degrees, but 60 degrees is fully adequate to kill any germs and bacteria, which also supports the durability of the cloth and the environment. After wash or use, allow to AIR DRY. If you do toss them in the tumble dryer, the cloth shrinks and loses much of its functionality.
TIPS:
- Simply pour boiling water over your Suztain sponge cloth, which will disinfected without the cost of washing time in your laundry on a daily basis. Of course, with use, it will also do well with a good laundry wash from time to time. Just remember to air dry it.
- Sponge Cloths need to be damp first for them to work quickly in absorbing. Dry, they just take longer to soak up and for the powerful absorbent fibers to be ready for work.
