Grow Cork Flowerpot with thyme - Perfect as a hostess gift or as part of the sustainable kitchen!
Grow fresh herbs, edible flowers and sweet berries in your window all year round. Everything you need is inside the package, but you have to add a little water and love.
The Grow Cork flower pot is made of leak-proof cork so it does not end up in water. In the package is there a package of organic seeds, soil and clay balls, as well as Danish instructions on how to make the infant sprouts grow successfully.
The Grow Cork flower pot can be reused, and the seed bag contains enough seeds for you to see up to 3-4 times. However, one must remember to add new fresh soil every time there is a new sowing.
Remove seeds and soil from the flower pot. Spread the clay stones at the bottom of the pot and then fill with most of the soil
Spread a few seeds onto the ground (not too dense) and then distribute the last soil, about half an inch
Then keep the soil moist. It is important not to overflow, and can be advantageously done with a spray bottle
Cover the flower pot with a freezer bag (this forms a miniature greenhouse) and then place it in a light spot, without direct sunlight
Check daily whether the soil is moist. After about 7-14 days when the seeds have begun to germinate, you can remove the bag
Add some water to keep the soil moist all the time. When the plants are fully grown, they need water every day.
NOTE: The flower pot is supplied with Danish text packaging, as well as Danish instructions in the package
Grow Cork Flower Pot with thyme can be grown all year round. Thyme really likes lots of light and should therefore be placed somewhere with plenty of sun. Thyme lives best in moist soil, which, however, must not be too wet, therefore it is important that the water is only applied quietly and carefully. Thyme will not grow again once all leaves have been harvested. Then you have to replace the soil and plant a little more seeds in the pot :)
