Tawashi - Natural Dishwashing Brush
The Tawashi natural dishwashing brush is a traditional dishwashing brush widely used in Asia, especially in Japan. It can just about replace a traditional dishwashing brush, however as it does not have a long handle, it does not reach into caraffes or jugs.
The Tawashi natural brush is handmade from coconut fibres wound around a metal wire. The Tawashi brush is very effective and totally plastic free. Even though it is made from coconut fibres, the brush is very comfortable to hold and use and can easily replace a plastic filled, conventional brush.
The Tawashi Natural dishwashing brush is indispensable in a sustainable kitchen and is a fantastic complement to the Suztain Loofah scourer. It will help you remove dirt and burned food stains with ease.
Rinse the brush with warm water after use and shake if necessary to remove food remains and other debris - just like you would do with a normal dishwashing brush.
The brush has a practial metal sling so it can easily be hung for drying after use. The metal wire is galvanized and will not stain.
With the right care, the Tawashi Natural dishwashing brush will keep for 3-4 months of normal use and make light work of burnt-in food stains and help you clean even the most dirty pots and pans.
