Waste bags are one of the very big plastic polluters in the everyday life.
The BioBag waste bags are made from both fossil and natural ingredients, mostly corn starch.
The bags are by i.a. The City of Copenhagen selected as the most environmentally friendly waste bag.
A new study from the Institute of Technology from May 2018 reveals 70% fossil content in BioBag. In the production of BioBags, gas is used, which is the fossil content. It is important to understand that this does not mean that BioBags is not environmentally friendly. When BioBags decompose, only water, CO2 and humus are left. BioBag is constantly working to increase the content of renewable resources and make it available at a reasonable price.
The 20 Liter bags from BioBag are suitable for traditional waste racks
Because BioBag bags are compostable, they only have a shelf life of 18 months.
If you use the MaxAir bucket, you ensure that your bio-waste does not give bad odor. It can 'breathe' in the bucket because BioBags can too.
The roll contains 15 bags and is produced in Norway with maximum environmental considerations.
OBS !! Please note that you must NOT dispose of compostable bioplastics with your normal plastic waste. Compostable plastic contaminates the recyclable plastic and can make it completely useless for recycling.
OBS !! Basically, all bioplastics, including compostable bioplastics, should be disposed of as combustible waste.
